Procurement Specialist

Following the organizational change within the Procurement department, we are looking for a Procurement Specialist who will effectively manage the procurement and purchasing process of goods and services necessary for the company’s operation.

This opportunity will allow you to enhance your current skills in a dynamic and challenging institution; in particular, he/she will be responsible for:

  • Collaborate with various company departments to identify the needs for goods and services and define procurement requirements;
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct market research, and assess available options to ensure the choice of the most suitable suppliers;
  • Negotiate terms, conditions, and prices with suppliers, aiming to obtain the best value for money and mitigate risks;
  • Work with internal departments, such as Production, Logistics and Finance, to ensure that purchases are in line with the operational and financial needs of the company;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, managing regular communications, resolving any disputes, and evaluating performance;
  • Ensure that contracts with suppliers are properly drafted, monitor compliance with agreements, and manage any contractual changes;
  • Ensure that purchases comply with regulations and company policies, including ethical and environmental standards;
  • Regularly evaluate supplier performance based on key metrics such as delivery times, quality, and customer service.

Training:

  • High school diploma or Degree;

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of markets and suppliers;
  • Knowledge of local and international laws and regulations related to purchasing;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Proficient in Excel and the Office suite;
  • Good knowledge of materials and specific product categories;
  • Good cost analysis skills and time and priority management.

  • Procurement Manager
